13–16 July: Power of Plants Festival
Hawkwood Estate, Gloucestershire

29 July: Foraging Day (£75)
Ashwellthorpe 10.30 to 4.30

Basing ourselves in our garden and the surrounding hedgerows, we will have a full day of learning about plants for food and medicine. You will learn to recognize a wide range of plants including fat hen, orache, meadowsweet, sow thistle, nipplewort, chickweed, herb Robert, St John's wort, vervain, plantain, mallow, yarrow and many more. Price includes lunch, partly foraged, and afternoon tea.

30 July: Hedgerow Medicine-making Day (£90)
Ashwellthorpe 10.30 to 4.30

We will have a full day of learning how to make simple medicines from the plants abundantly growing around us in our garden and surrounding hedgerows and waysides. You will learn to recognize a wide variety of plants and how to make a herbal vinegar, a glycerite, poultices and footbaths. Price includes lunch, afternoon tea, handouts and medicines you have made to take home.

11–15 September: 5-day hedgerow medicine course
Ashwellthorpe, 10.30 to 4.30 each day

An opportunity to receive hands-on tuition in making a wide range of herbal medicines, including: tinctures, glycerites, poultices, oils, ointments, flower essences, distillates, oxymels and electuaries. We will also cover basic botany, how to create herbal formulae and look at ways to evaluate constitutions and restore balance in the body. The longer format allows us to dive deeper into the herbs and their uses, while also providing a great opportunity for us and the group to get to know each other. Expect excellent vegan food and to take away lots of medicines you have made yourself. Please contact us if you would like more information, including a list of local accommodation.

11 and 19 November: Winter Health Workshop (£85)
Ashwellthorpe 10.30 to 4.30

Learn how to use hedgerow, wayside and kitchen herbs to stay healthy through the winter. We will discuss how to treat vitamin D deficiency, Seasonal Affective Disorder and winter viral infections. You will make several remedies to take home with you, including the famous thieve's vinegar. Price includes materials, handouts, lunch and afternoon tea.
